Caring for your gold jewelry

18K gold is durable, but a little care keeps it looking the way it did on the first day.

Last on, first off

Put jewelry on after perfume, lotion and hairspray, and take it off before swimming, the gym or cleaning. Chlorine and household chemicals dull gold and loosen settings.

Clean gently at home

Soak pieces for a few minutes in warm water with a drop of mild soap, brush softly with a baby toothbrush and dry with a lint-free cloth.

Store pieces apart

Diamonds scratch gold, and chains tangle. Keep each piece in its own pouch or compartment.

Bring them in once a year

We clean, polish and check every setting under magnification free of charge, for as long as you own the piece.
